Kalo pothi ( The Black Hen) full movie online review


Kalo Pothi (The Black Hen) Nepali film directed by Min Bahadur Bham. The story take place in Mugu district in Nepal.  It was the first film Nepali film to be screened at the venice film festival.

This movie features Khadak Raj Nepali , Sukra Raj Rokaya , Benisha Hamal in lead roles. 

The film is one and half hour long movie based on two boys Prakash and Kiran. They are belonging to  different castes and different communities in remote village in Mugu district in Nepal.  The movie is set during the long civil war in Nepal. The centre conflict of movie is the struggle of two boys who are in search for lost hen.

The most powerful part of Kalo Pothi is it expressly corresponded to confined character , relation society, politics , society , culture and language .
